Indianapolis Indians 12, Toledo Mud Hens 11 (F/10)(box)
Toledo and Indy locked up in a big time slugfest on Tuesday, but it was ultimately the bad guys who walked in off in 10 innings. Ricardo Pinto started for the Hens and was lit up for eight runs in just two innings of work. This after the Hens scored three in the top of the first, powered by an Aderlin Rodriguez two-run shot, his 16th on the season. Drew Carlton came on for four solid innings of relief to give the Hens space for a comeback, which they quickly produced.
An RBI triple from Christin Stewart scored Rodriguez in the fourth, while Stewart later scored on a JaCoby Jones single to pull the Hens within four. They scored four more an inning later with Stewart’s three-run blast leading the way, then broke the tie with two more in the sixth. Unfortunately, Bryan Garcia blew the save, allowing them to tie the game in the eighth. The game remained tied after nine, but the Hens failed to score with the Manfred Man at second, and Jason Foley couldn’t hold Indy to the same fate in the bottom half of the frame.
Stewart: 2-4, 2 R, 4 RBI, HR, 3B, BB
Castro: 3-6, 3 R, 2B, SO
Rodriguez: 3-4, 3 R, 2 RBI, HR, 2B, BB, SO
Coming Up Next: The two clubs meet up at 1:35 p.m. EDT on Tuesday. Veteran RHP Shelby Miller (1-0, 4.20 ERA) starts for Indy.
Erie SeaWolves 12, Binghamton Rumble Ponies 7 (box)
The SeaWolves built a 12-0 lead through four innings and cruised to victory in Binghamton. Spencer Torkelson, Ryan Kreidler, Josh Lester, and Kerry Carpenter all went yard in the romp, keyed in an eight-run third inning. Tork and Carpenter each doubled as well. As for starter Elvin Rodriguez, he was cruising with one run allowed through five frames, but came undone in the sixth, allowing four runs to help the Ponies make things look rather more respectable. Riley Greene went 0-for-5, the only SeaWolf without a hit.
Torkelson: 2-5, 2 R, RBI, HR, 2B, 2 SO
Dingler: 1-3, 2 R, SO
Kreidler: 1-4, 2 R, 3 RBI, HR, 2 SO

Also, aww this is nice guys. NEVER DO IT AGAIN.
AWFUL rains in Binghamton to end the night.
But Spencer Torkelson and Dillon Dingler each went out to help pull tarp as the Binghamton crew had a tough time.

Lansing Lugnuts 8, West Michigan Whitecaps 3 (box)
The Whitecaps drew six walks in this one, but couldn’t break through offensively. Meanwhile, rough outings from starter Adam Wolf and Austin Bergner in relief made it a tough task to come back. The only offensive star for the ‘Caps was, once again, Eric de la Rosa, who tripled and scored on a Parker Meadows single in the fourth, and later doubled. The ‘Caps got some help in the sixth as the Lugnuts’ Dalton Sawyer wild pitched in a run and balked in another.
De la Rosa: 3-5, R, 3B, 2B, 2 SO
Coming Up Next: RHP Beau Brieske (5-3, 3.59 ERA) takes on the Lugnuts’ RHP Shohei Tomioka (3-2, 2.97 ERA) at 12:05 p.m. EDT on Wednesday.
Lakeland Flying Tigers 7, Dunedin Blue Jays 3 (box)
Jack O’Loughlin got out to a rough first inning on Tuesday, allowing a three run first inning for the Jays. He slammed the door from there, however, going five innings and punching out seven along the way. Williander Moreno and Gabriel Sequeira combined for four scoreless innings of relief with six punchouts to lock the Jays in place the rest of the way.
The offense got a run in the top of the first, with Colt Keith drawing a walk, moving to third on an Eliezer Alfonzo single, and scoring on a Nick Quintana sac fly. They really got it going in the third, as Colt Keith launched his first pro homer, a two run shot with Jose King aboard. In the fourth, they blew it open a bit, scoring four as Keith came through again with a two run single for the big hit of the inning.
Keith: 2-3, 2 R, 4 RBI, HR, 2 BB
Alfonzo: 3-5
Bojarski: 2-4, R, 2 SO
Coming Up Next: RHP Carlos Guzman (2-6, 5.72 ERA) takes on LHP Naswell Paulino (2-2, 4.74 ERA) at 6:30 p.m. EDT in Dunedin.
