Miguel Cabrera followed his 502nd career home run on Wednesday with his 2,963rd career hit, driving in the go-ahead run against the A’s. The hit tied him with Hall of Famer and longtime Tiger Sam Crawford for 34th on the all-time AL/NL list, per the Elias Sports Bureau. Crawford played 15 of his 19 seasons in Detroit, and holds the all-time AL/NL record with 309 career triples.
