Last season, the Detroit Tigers were quick to hire manager A.J. Hinch right after the World Series ended. Al Avila wasted no time once again being quick on the trigger as the Tigers made the first move of the off-season, acquiring Tucker Barnhart from the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for infielder prospect Nick Quintana.
