Detroit just can’t get enough golf.

Just days after the Rocket Mortgage Classic wrapped up its fifth edition, the Detroit Tigers and Upper Deck Golf have teamed up to bring even more golf to the Motor City, with a golfing experience that will allow participants to tee off from the upper deck of stadiums and ballparks.

The event will be a three-day event at Comerica Park this fall, with dates yet to be announced.

The event is set up as a nine-hole round to be played by groups of four around the upper deck of the park, no putting involved. If the shot lands on the designated green, it’s a par; if it lands in the inner circle, it’s a birdie.

Registration for tee times is set to open in mid-August, but early registration is available now. Tee times will run from from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. over the three days.

Participants receive 18 balls to use on the “course.” Standard golf clubs will be provided but golfers can bring their own. However, no drivers or fairway metals will be allowed.

There’s also a “VIP” option. That includes extra golf balls, free entry into the driving, putting and chipping challenges and complimentary food and drinks.

In addition to the golf-related events, there will also be live music and food and beverage specials throughout the park.
