Well gang, the 2024 Major League Baseball trade deadline has come and gone.
Among the moves the Detroit Tigers made ahead of the 6 p.m. ET cutoff was sending LHP Andrew Chafin to the Texas Rangers for RHP Joseph Montalvo and RHP Chase Lee in exchange. They also sent catcher Carson Kelly to Arlington for catcher Liam Hicks and RHP Tyler Owens.
Additionally, Scott Harris and Co. acquired RHP Ricky Vanasco from the Los Angeles Dodgers for our favorite friend, cash considerations.
Full trade: The Los Angeles Dodgers are acquiring Jack Flaherty from the Detroit Tigers for Thayron Liranzo and Trey Sweeney, according to sources familiar with the deal.
