They’ve done it! After 10 long years of despair, a teardown, multiple phases of rebuilding, and then one of the wildest and most improbable stretch runs in sports history, your Detroit Tigers are back in the postseason. Starting Tuesday, October 1, we’ll have playoff baseball for the first time since the ill-fated 2014 run that ended abruptly at the hands of the Baltimore Orioles. And it’s still possible that the Orioles will be the team the Tigers take on in the wild card round.
