These young Tigers came out hot in the Wild Card series. Now they look to be here for a long time as well as a good time. A game away from closing out the Cleveland Guardians, the faithful at Comerica Park on Wednesday saw the first MLB playoff game in Detroit since 2014, and the first victory since 2013. And they’re hungry for more.
Fans absolutely packed the park on a gorgeous Wednesday afternoon in the D, setting a new record for a Tigers playoff game in Comerica Park with an official attendance of 44,585 fans on hand to watch them defeat the Cleveland Guardians 3-0.
for a As Tigers fever sweeps the state again, our partners, the good folks at Breaking T have a whole new collection of Tigers shirts, hoodies, and other apparel just in time for this new era of Tigers baseball to really kick into high gear.
A portion of all purchases through our affiliate links comes back to the Bless You Boys staff, so we’d appreciate it greatly if you check out Breaking T’s new gear.
Whatever comes through the rest of October, Kerry Carpenter’s game-winning three-run blast against ace closer Emmanuel Clase in Game 2 will go down as one of the biggest home runs in franchise history. The very definition of Clutch as this new shirt/hoodie design proclaims.
“Don’t Let the Tigers Get Hot” has been the rallying cry for this club ever since catcher Jake Rogers produced that winning quote in a postgame interview in September. Breaking T’s new design is based on the 2024 Detroit Tigers rallying cry, but it could apply to the Lions as well. The good times have returned to Detroit sports. May the Red Wings follow suit, and eventually, please let the Pistons be good again.
“Don’t Let Detroit Get Hot” is here and available via this Breaking T link.
Maybe you’re thinking a little ahead. In that case, Breaking T has another new offering you may like. Top pitching prospect in baseball, RHP Jackson Jobe, hasn’t seen much action yet in this postseason, but if the Tigers continue to make a deep run, that is bound to change.
Jobe has four electric offerings when he’s dialed in, and while fine-tuning his command is still ongoing, you can be sure that he’s developing bullpen session by bullpen session under the tutelage of Chris Fetter and Dr. Robin Lund. In a random postseason sights and sounds clip from MLB the other day, Lund can be seen talking to Jobe on the field at Comerica Park and telling him there’s no reason he can’t amp his 3000 rpm slider up to 87 mph rather than the 85 mph we’re used to seeing. Taking a little of that filthy breaking ball’s pop out of his hand is the goal, and when he gets it, hitters are going to be in big trouble.
Jackson Jobe’s time is near, and in his six major league innings of work, he’s still yet to allow a hard hit ball. He’ll be a factor before this is said and done. Get ahead in the count with this new design from Breaking T, available via our affiliate link here.
There are a few more options like Triple Crown Skub, and Tarik Skubal: Ace Pose, Pitching Chaos by AJ Hinch, “Parker Meadows: Robbery” and many others available, as well as their previous collection with “Gritty Tigs,” “0.2%,” “the Roar of ‘24,” “October in the D,” among other Tigers designs.
Thanks for taking the time to check them out, and go Tigers!
